Overview
Escape the whirlwind pace of the modern world for a few days with a break at one of Cornwall’s most unique hideaways. Not just a place to stay but a portal to a bygone era, the Roundhouse is one of the best quirky places to stay in Cornwall - a replica Iron Age dwelling that’s been featured in publications such as GQ, Elle Decoration, The Guardian and Cabin Porn.
Tucked away in a tranquil location on Bodrifty Farm, in the gloriously wild-fringed coastal landscape of West Penwith, this unusual self-catering property is deeply woven with romance. Hike out to explore the many ancient monuments in this corner of Cornwall then return to sit and stargaze by the campfire before climbing into the handmade four-poster bed and drifting off to sleep beneath a cosy duck-down duvet.
During each stay in this unusual accommodation guests have exclusive use of an adjacent treehouse, home to a kitchen, sitting room and bathroom that even features underfloor heating and a walk-in drench shower.
